Covenant offers students in Years 9 to 11 the opportunity to complete the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. It gives students the opportunities to experience a sense of achievement through individual challenge. The Award provides a balanced, non-competitive program of voluntary activities which encourage personal discovery and growth, independence, perseverance, responsibility and service to the community.

Award levels

There are three Award levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level requires participants to complete four sections: Service, Skill, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. Gold level participants must also complete a residential project.

With the assistance of Covenant's Award Leader, Mr Jonanthan Chor, students can design their own program around personal passions and interests.
