Music is an integral part of life at Covenant. From Year 7 to the HSC, there are so many ways for our students to get involved. We have dedicated and specialised music teachers and facilities, enabling us to provide a wealth of co-curricular music opportunities.
For our passionate musicians in Secondary School, there are numerous ways to be involved. Students are invited to join our Senior Orchestra, Senior Band, Vocal Ensemble or Guitar Ensemble.
The annual Music Tour provides a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform in front of a variety of audiences and share their musical gifts with our community.
Our Assembly Band has the privilege of leading our school in singing praises to God during our assemblies.
Our annual Evening of Music is one of the highlights of the school calendar. Widely attended by past students, family and friends, our bands and ensembles always deliver remarkable performances.
Our students have the opportunity to be part of the Secondary School Musical every second year. Past musicals have included the Wizard of Oz, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Little Mermaid. In 2023, our students will be performing The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
Our students are invited to perform at a variety of school functions, showcasing their talents and musical gifts.
Our Co-Curricular music offering operates alongside our strong and comprehensive music curriculum. Our specialised music teachers work carefully alongside our music students to help them excel in using the incredible gifts that God has given them.
Private music tuition and instrument hire is also available for interested students. Private lessons are provided on school premises by an outstanding group of music tutors.
